FedEx Air/Ground NFL Player of the Year

Three record breaking running backs and 3 outstanding quarterbacks were vying for the first FedEx Air/Ground Awards for Player of the Year. Football fans were asked to cast their vote via the internet for their choice of Peyton Manning, Steve McNair and Dante Culpepper for quaterback and Jamal Lewis, Priest Holmes and Ahman Green for running back.

230,000 votes later Manning and Green were announced as the winners at a press conference January 28, 2004 just prior to Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston. The award weights close to 50 lbs. and is a timeless combination of glass, metal and granite. A special thank you to Levy Awards for the design and the opportunity to showcase our talents.
